Spread across island and coastal hubs, diving in the Philippines encompasses 682 sites. Puerto Galera is the largest named concentration with 50, followed by Siquijor with 38 and Davao with 22. Anda, Panglao Island, Moalboal, Busuanga and Coron, and Sipalay provide additional bases, distributing the country's diving well beyond one center.

The Philippines' dive sites are dominated by reefs and open-ocean settings, including 238 reef sites and 203 ocean sites. Walls and drift dives are also prominent, with sandy bottoms and wrecks adding further variety. Kimud Shoal draws the greatest dive activity, followed by Gato Island near Malapascua and Monad Shoal; Alona Reef and Los Bamboos round out the most frequently used locations. This mix supports itineraries built around distinct areas as well as preferred underwater terrain.
