Diving in Taiwan

Taiwan has 13 sites spanning reef, open-ocean and sandy-bottom environments, with beach, cave and cavern diving also present. Diving in Taiwan therefore covers both exposed-water settings and more enclosed underwater terrain. Reefs and ocean sites form the strongest parts of the mix, while sandy bottoms provide a different foundation for route planning.

Among the dive sites in Taiwan, Green Island has the clearest geographic concentration, with 5 locations. Keelung and Taipei add further options elsewhere. Activity is led by 杉福港左側, followed at a considerable distance by Beauty Cave 美人洞 and 軟珊瑚區. Shanfu Boat Wreck and Shanfu Boat Wrecks also appear among the most frequently dived locations, adding wreck-oriented names to the broader range.
