Diving in Vietnam
Vietnam offers 42 sites, with the strongest concentration around Nha Trang. Diving in Vietnam is primarily reef-based, though open-ocean settings, walls, drift routes, sandy bottoms and caves broaden the terrain available. The result is a national mix led by structured reef diving but not limited to it.
Of the dive sites in Vietnam, 18 are around Nha Trang, while Hoi An has 5 and Phu Quoc has 4. Reefs account for 25 sites, and open-ocean diving appears at 11. Madonna Rocks has the highest logged-dive total, followed by Madonna Rock Deep and Kim Quy Island. Turtle Island North and Gầm Ghì West complete the group of locations receiving the most activity.
