Dive trips are travel, and part of planning one is knowing the situation on the ground. The Global Peace Index by the Institute for Economics & Peace ranks 163 independent states and territories by peacefulness every year, measuring societal safety and security, ongoing conflict, and militarisation. The full 2026 ranking is below, most peaceful first.
